When we learn a language as a baby, no one can explain the new words to us because ALL words are new. Our brain absorbs (ซึมซับ) the language naturally like a sponge.

Adult brains are exactly the same. If we watch TV in a foreign language regularly, our brain starts to absorb the new sounds and vocabulary.

In the beginning, we do not understand any of the new words, but in the end, our brain remembers and translates them. It just takes time. After all, children require (ต้องการ) around two years before they start to speak.
